pearson & co. google adwords [2010]

pearson & co. requested rodenbush's implementation of landing pages for their fall-season google adword campaign, targeting prospective clientele with answers to questions about strategic marketing as it applies to specific needs. via three unique points of entry, these pages deliver a set of downloadable pdfs upon successful registration. the pages were created utilizing php, xhtml, css, jquery, javascript, and htaccess technologies.

the key tasks at hand were:
  • deploy fully-functional, indexable landing pages to spec from client-supplied, layered-graphic mock-up files.
  • develop efficient, dynamic, function-driven page structures for quick content modification and rapid display.
  • deliver pages upon browser request for multiple instances of keywords as found within specified urls.
  • build 'label-ghosting', css-styled text inputs within registration forms to attract prospective business leads.
  • validate, feedback, store mysql data, and notify client of new registrants upon the successful completion of forms.
  • dynamically provide force-downloading pdf links to registrants per user request upon the successful receipt of details.
  • implement the jquery-based shadowbox library for the engaging display of previews for downloadable pdfs.
  • create and display a privacy policy page for governing the use of information received from forms.
